Emotional responses, including our amygdala responses and system 1 thinking, are some of the most powerful informational inputs our body and mind has. We are constantly perceiving and responding to emotional information - fear, surprise, excitement - whether we are aware of it or not. Unfortunately, some of us have learned to be wary and disapproving of our emotions through our experiences or our professional training. This position can rob us of the important information that our emotions are communicating to us and stop us from using the information strategically and smartly.

Learn how to interpret and listen to this important informational source, and by doing so improve your leadership skills, negotiation skills, sales skills and interpersonal skills.

The bootcamp draws from the latest negotiation theory, behavioral science, and psychology and provides tactical training on how to read your own and other people's emotions, and utilize them for leadership, negotiation and sales.

The bootcamp kicks off with an orientation session over video conference to set goals and norms for the bootcamp. You will then meet with your coach 1:1, two times a month virtually (via video conference) for 90 minutes, for 3 months.

Each session consists of structured exercises, facilitated exploration of issues and open space to work through relevant areas for growth.

The intention of this bootcamp is to give you the skills to smoothly read other's emotions and respond to them in a way that makes you a better leader, negotiator and sales person. All this is facilitated by one of The (em) Collective's experienced coaches who's focus is to help you grow as a person and as a leader.

We will then schedule a 30 minute video call with you to help us make sure that the 1:1 bootcamp is the best fit for you.


Once you are confirmed for the bootcamp, we will send you details to schedule our first orientation session, and tentative holds for your calendar for the remainder of the bootcamp sessions. The orientation will be an intensive session to set the goals with your coach and set the groundwork for the bootcamp, so as to set you up to get the most out of the bootcamp, including communication norms and onboarding into The (em) Collective.

Meet Virtually

You will then meet with your coach 1:1 two times a month for 90 minutes virtually (via video conference) and work through the bootcamp material. You will receive tailored guidance on how to implement the new skills into your work, leadership and life. The bootcamp will involve readings, exercises and guided experimentation with the new skills.
